The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held the third academic seminar on December 2, 2021, entitled "Technology Innovation and Digital Transformation in Tourism and Hospitality Industry". Professor Wang Dan from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was invited to share her views on the topic. The seminar was attended by FHTM Program Director Zhang Yang and about 150 postgraduate students via Zoom.

Dr. Dan Wang is an associate professor at School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In this lecture, Professor Wang Dan focused on six dimensions of digital transformation and how to analyze and apply in the research. Professor Wang Dan brought diversified academic research directions to the students from the perspective of technological innovation and digital transformation. After the presentation, Professor Wang Dan also answered questions from the students. FHTM students were grateful to Professor Wang Dan for the wonderful sharing.
