The 8th "Hotelier Experience Sharing" symposium hosted by the Student Union of the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management was held on December 3, 2021 through Zoom Meeting.
The main purpose of this symposium was inviting alumni who are currently serving in the hospitality industry, sharing their hotel working experience to current students in Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, let the students in the school understand the current working environment and actual operation of the hotel industry. The event invited five alumni in Macau's leading luxury hotel services. They are: Zoe Hong (The Ritz-Carlton Harbin)、Viola Zhu (Radisson Collection Hotel, Xing Guo Shanghai)、Shawn Wang (Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai)、Hank Li (Hyatt Regency Hengqin). They were sharing the practical experience of working. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel industry work and also provided their advices to current students. Finally, the guests answered all kinds of questions from the students. The questions and answers were included: hotel internship, resume preparation, job search skills, interview response, hotel work environment culture, and future career development issues. The entire event lasted for two hours.
