In November, 2022, Dr. Salott Chau from the Macau University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management led a visit to MGM Cotai with about 50 students who are studying Service Management in Hotel and Tourism Industry program (DE3). The visit enabled the students to have a better understanding of the specific details of hotel service management. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to integrate the knowledge learned in class with practice, to improve their professionalism, and build the foundation for their future career in the hospitality industry.

MGM Macau staff led the students through a detailed introduction to the scale of the MGM brand, the basic information about MGM in Macau, the types of suites and facilities, the staff logistics office, and other related information. MGM Cotai is designed with innovation and art in mind, and the hotel's strong artistic atmosphere, attentive butler service, and luxurious facilities have become one of the most prominent choices for visitors to Macau. MGM Cotai pays attention to the details of service delivery. For example, a customized communication device is provided in the suites. This device was designed independently for MGM Cotai and features such as automatic house lighting adjustment, window shades, and 24-hour connection with the reception. A mini-bar in the suite offers Macau limited edition beverages. Two adjacent rooms can be combined to form a family suite so that guests can have a better experience. These careful services provide customers with the ultimate service experience.
Through this visit, the students had a comprehensive understanding of the overall service management and operation of the star hotels and received a lot of rewarding learning experiences, and the visit was successfully completed.
