The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held the first lecture of “Things Graduate Students MUST Know” on 14th April, 2023 in N214. Prof. Timothy Lee of FHTM was invited as the guest speaker and provided an insightful lecture entitled “How to write a competitive manuscript to leading academic journals?”. Prof. Ben K. Goh, Dean of FHTM, Program Director Dr. Feng Yan, Program Director Dr. Wong Weng Chou, Associate Professor Dr. Pai Chen Kuo, Associate Professor Dr. Pan Su Ying, Assistant Professor Dr. Hong Fang, Assistant Professor Dr. Liu Chao, Assistant Professor Dr. Lai Tin Hang, Assistant Professor Dr. Wang Shuo, Instructor Teng Shu-Peng and more than 120 students attended the seminar.

On behalf of all the faculty and students of FHTM, Prof. Ben K. Goh, Dean of FHTM extended a warm welcome to Prof Timothy Lee and presented a souvenir to Prof. Timothy Lee. Prof. Timothy Lee, as a board member of several SSCI journals in the hotel and tourism field, gave a lecture on how to write and submit a competitive manuscript to leading academic journals. During the lecture, Prof. Timothy Lee summarized the characteristics of excellent manuscripts and the key issues in the article and explained how to write research methods, literature reviews and innovative research.
