The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Held the Second Session of this Semester’s Distinguished Scholar Forum of Hospitality and Tourism—— Tourism Practice of Rural Revitalization in Minority Areas

 As part of the celebration of M.U.S.T.’s 24th Anniversary, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) held the second session of this semester’s “Distinguished Scholar Forum of Hospitality and Tourism Management” successfully on April 22, 2024. Dr. Gloria Wu, Ecommerce Center-General Manager, China Travel Service (H.K.), was invited as the guest speaker. Prof. Timothy Lee, Vice Dean of FHTM, Assistant Dean and Associate Professor Zhang Yang, and more than 100 teachers and students attended this lecture.

In the lecture, Dr. Gloria Wu shared her rich experience in the tourism industry and her experience in promoting the development of tourism in Fenghuang County when she served as deputy county magistrate. Students are encouraged to maintain confidence and love for the tourism industry, actively explore the world outside of books, gain an in-depth understanding of the current development status of the tourism industry, and strive to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
