From August 23 to August 24, 2024, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Professor Ben K. Goh, along with 34 faculty and staff members participated in retreat at Dong’ Ao Island, Zhuhai. The faculty and staff members from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology convened at the Marriott Resort on Dong’ Ao Island in Zhuhai to hold a meeting aimed at enhancing collaboration and communication among staff, as well as promoting the strategic development and innovation of the faculty. The meeting was chaired by Professor Ben K. Goh.

Discussions focused on the mission and vision for the faculty's development, as well as a thorough analysis of the overall framework for strategic planning and the objectives for the upcoming academic year. Professor Ben K. Goh organized discussions among the faculty, actively listening to their opinions and suggestions to foster collaboration and innovative thinking. Throughout the discussions, faculty members inspired creativity and shared valuable experiences and insights. The meeting concluded with an awards ceremony to honor colleagues who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and service.
