"Distinguished Scholar Forum of Hospitality and Tourism" Lecture Series: Professor Lyu Xingyang presented ‘Theories and Trends of Tourism Sensory Marketing’ in the ‘Hospitality and Tourism Masters Forum’ series of lectures

As part of the celebration of M.U.S.T.’s 25th Anniversary, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Macau University of Science and Technology successfully hosted an academic lecture on 20 February 2025. Professor Lyu Xingyang from Southwest University of Finance and Economics was invited as the guest speaker to give an in-depth talk on the theories and trends of sensory marketing in tourism. The lecture was attended by Professor Timothy Lee, Vice Dean of F.H.T.M., Assistant Dean and Associate Professor Zhang Yang, several other faculty members, and over 80 students.

Professor Lyu Xingyang has accumulated rich experience in tourism sensory marketing and many of his articles have been published in core journals in the field. In the seminar, Prof. Lyu explained the theories and trends of tourism sensory marketing to the students and teachers. At the end of the seminar, Prof. Lyu interacted with the students and teachers, and discussed in-depth issues on tourism sensory marketing, providing valuable professional insights to the participants.

The detailed and informative lectures benefited the teachers and students. Professor Lyu Xingyang's presentation enhanced the knowledge and understanding of our teachers and students on sensory marketing in tourism and further promoted academic exchanges between our institute and the Mainland universities.
