From April 10th to 13th, 2025, a delegation of faculty and students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), including Assistant Dean Jose Weng Chou WONG, Associate Professor Tang Juan, and Assistant Professor Zhu Yanni, participated in the "Tourism Science 2025 Annual Conference" and served as conveners for two parallel forums. The delegation actively engaged in the event, showcasing the faculty's academic expertise and influence in the field of tourism studies. As one of the most authoritative academic journals in tourism research, Tourism Science holds significant sway in both academia and industry. The conference brought together over 50 editorial board members and attracted nearly 1,000 participants from universities and research institutions such as Nankai University, Xiamen University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Sun Yat-sen University. During the event, the MUST delegation actively exchanged ideas with scholars, shared their latest research findings, and explored future directions in tourism studies.

Held at Ocean University of China in Qingdao, the conference centered on the theme "New Trends in Cultural Tourism and Innovation in Academic Systems."
