On April 29, 2024, under the arrangement of Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) and led by Dr. Salott Chau, students (Rooms Management DE2 class) from the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology visited the Galaxy Macau™ integrated resort and its tourism and leisure amenities.

To enable students with deeper understanding of the operation and management of large-scale integrated resort, GEG arranged various team members from the Hotel Training & Communication Department to guide the students to visit Galaxy Hotel™ and Hotel Okura Macau, introducing the customer-oriented hospitality and cultural essence, whilst sharing with them professional knowledge of different aspects, so that they can experience GEG’s “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy.
Furthermore, students also visited the Grand Resort Deck and Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center with its well-equipped facilities and services, including the world’s largest Skytop Wave Pool and the longest Skytop Adventure Rapids at 575 meters. Students were also amazed by the playing-learning opportunities offered by Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center, where children can learn about physics, chemistry, cooking, painting and a series of knowledge whilst experiencing joy amidst laughter.
Finally, this visit is indeed a good opportunity for hospitality students to broaden their horizons. The overall experience can encourage students to have further thoughts on the importance of service attitude upon customers in the hotel industry.
