The National Tourism Colleges Tourism Product Planning Competition is a prestigious national event co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Nankai University, and the Department of Human Resources of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It has become a well-recognized professional competition in tourism education. The competition aims to "focus on the forefront of tourism industry development and promote industry-education integration for collaborative talent cultivation." This year, it attracted participation from 445 universities and 2,113 teams across the country, making it highly competitive.

The competition featured five major themes, including cultural heritage, technological innovation, and rural revitalization. Participating teams were required to conduct in-depth market research and analysis on a chosen theme and propose innovative and feasible tourism product planning solutions. After multiple rounds of expert review and selection, the two MUST teams earned their awards for their unique creativity and rigorous logic.

This achievement not only recognizes the FHTM’s commitment to excellence in tourism education and talent cultivation but also adds a new highlight to the university’s track record in national competitions. The winning teams reflected the innovative abilities and professional skills of FHTM students while showcasing the collaborative efforts and dedication of the faculty and students. Furthermore, this milestone provides valuable experience for Macau universities participating in national-level professional competitions and demonstrates the proactive, innovative, and persevering spirit of MUST students.

Looking ahead, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management will continue to uphold the university motto for encouraging students to participate in high-level competitions. Through practical experiences, the faculty aims to enhance students’ comprehensive abilities, nurture more professional talent for Macau and China’s tourism industry, and contribute to the innovation and development of the field.
