FHTM has invited Ms. Sophie Lei, Founder and CEO of SD Magazine and Ms. Ally Li, publisher of SD Magazine for a talk on “Luxury Event Management” to our graduate students and faculty on Friday, January 15. Ms. Lei explained the process of marketing and branding as well as the characteristics of the luxury market. By using four case studies, Ms. Lei emphasized the niche market in Macau to increase shopping quality and customers’ needs. The talk was held in the culinary lab where the Food and Beverage majored students prepared the eclectic array of food.
