The Culinary Skills Competition organized by Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management

The Culinary Skills Competition organized by Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management was held on October 11. This was an individual competition which attracted 9 students from Food and Beverage Management students ranging from year two to four to participate. The contestants first competed with four knife cuts chosen at random within 20 minutes and 7 contestants were moved forward to the second round competition. For the second round competition, contestants cooked hard boiled eggs and 4 contestants were selected to the third round competition. During the third round, the contestants had 15 minutes abs were asked to prepare Hollandaise sauce. In the end, the year 4 students, Lesley Wong and year 2 student, Wheatley Lu were awarded the first and second place respectively. They will be representing Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, MUST to participate the international culinary competition, FHA, which will be held in Singapore in March, 2020.
