2021/05/14

19 FHTM master students who attend the course of ‘Term project of tourism planning and project management’ (MBTT03), led by Assistant Professor Lee Young Hee, visited the top of Macau Tower and observed the Macau’s whole new urban area in order to discuss topics related to sustainable tourism development in the new urban area of Macau. This trip is sponsored by Macau Foundation.

When the postgraduates had a bird view from the top of Macau Tower, it was observed that the Guia Fortress’s ‘sea view’ is gradually disappearing, which means the outstanding universal value (OUV) of Macau’s World Cultural Heritage is an important research topic for us in the future. For the sustainable tourism development of Macau’s new urban zone, master students also had an opportunity to interview the tourists of Macau tower in terms of the sustainability of Macau’s urban zone and collected the related data for the research. Students learned a lot from this event.
