On October 8, 2021, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held the first lecture on " Hotel Management - Competencies " on Zoom. Mr. Luís de Herédia, Consultant of San You Development Company LTD. in Macao, was invited to give a speech.

During the lecture, Mr. Heredia firstly introduced the responsibilities and requirements of the General Manager of the hotel in detail, described how the General Manager should lead the hotel to become better. Then, Mr. Heredia elaborated what kind of knowledge, skills and attitudes should be possessed by the general manager of the hotel. Mr. Heredia Also outlined the importance of career planning to individuals in the workplace and gave his best wishes to students for their future development.
At the end of the presentation, students had a lot of interactions with Mr. Heredia in the Q&A session.Mr. Heredia has spared no effort to help them. This presentation will give students great inspiration for their future development.
