Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology held Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) Certificate Award Ceremony & Unveiling Ceremony of the Plaque of AHLEI Designated Training Base in Greater China. The ceremony was attended by various guests, including Mr. Huo Jinglin, AHLEI Greater China Accreditation & Education Committee Member, Mr. Patrick Wong, Chairman of FHTM Alumni Association of MUST, Ms. Xu Yun, General Manager of Metropark Macau, Ms. Fiona Tan, Deputy Manager of Training and Development Department at Sands China, Ms. Yuki Leong, Senior Manager of Learning & Development of SJM, Mr. Gilbert Kam, Chief Concierge of Legend Palace Hotel, Ms. Gigi Chan, Chief Concierge of Four Seasons Hotel, Mr. Chris Chit Thar, Chief Concierge of Sands Macao Hotel, Mr. Focus Tong, Assistant Chief Concierge of St. Regis Macao Hotel, Mr. Will Ho, Head of Concierge of Londoner Macao Hotel, Ms. Sherry Xu, Guest service supervisor of Mandarin Oriental Macau, as well as Prof. Ben K. During the ceremony, Prof. Ben K. Goh, Dean of the FHTM, delivered a passionate speech expressing his gratitude for the strong support from the AHLEI, industry experts, and teachers. Following that, Mr. Huo Jinglin, AHLEI Greater China Accreditation & Education Committee Member, delivered a wonderful speech, expressing the vision and expectations for the collaboration between the FHTM and the AHLEI.
The Signing Ceremony
The signing ceremony between the FHTM and the AHLEI Joint Training Center, as well as the unveiling ceremony, took place amidst enthusiastic applause, with all the guests and teachers bearing witness to this historic moment.
In the final part of the ceremony, Mr. Huo Jinglin, AHLEI Greater China Accreditation & Education Committee Member, gave a presentation on the training program, providing important information and cutting-edge knowledge about hotel education to the attendees.

The successful organization of this ceremony for the issuance of the CHE and the establishment of the joint training center between the FHTM and AHLEI signifies an important step forward in the international hotel education field for the Institute.
