Hosted by Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and the Student Union of FHTM at MUST, the Entrepreneurship & Community Service and Engagement Competition came to a successful conclusion on April 21, 2026. The competition aimed to develop and encourage entrepreneurial thinking among students and extend it to the community to those in need. This event offered students the opportunity to develop innovative business ideas and strategies, and to contribute their business profits to the community. With the guidance of Assistant Professor Kelvin Zhang, Assistant Professor Brenda Yang and Lecturer Dana Kan, students formed teams to develop their business plans and implemented them on the second floor of Block O. A total of 8 teams with 46 students participated and the event kicked off on March 16, 2026. The participating student held a charity sale on the afternoons of March 16, 18, 24, and 26 on the second-floor platform of Block O. Approximately 5,360 teachers and students attended the event, generating about 53,000 Macau patacas in profits.

On April 21, 2026, the event was perfectly concluded by Dr. Brenda Yang of the FHTM at MUST, along with the Student Union representatives and representatives from the teams participating in the charity sale. The total amount of 53,000 Macau patacas was donated to Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired. The participating students deeply appreciated being able to contribute to the community, and they hope that the faculty will continue to organize such meaningful events in the future.
