MUST Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Invited to APSI 2026 and Delivers Interdisciplinary Keynote Speech

Entrusted by Dean Professor Ben K. Goh of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Associate Professor Jun Wen, together with doctoral students Wenlong Wang and Jiawei Wang, attended the Artificial Intelligence Product and Service Innovation Forum (APSI 2026) held at Liaoning University on August 22, 2026, and delivered an interdisciplinary keynote speech.

 The forum, themed “Artificial Intelligence Marketing and Human Well-being,” was organized by the Business School of Liaoning University and the Business Administration College of Northeastern University, among others, with academic support from Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics (SSCI, Q1). It brought together scholars from home and abroad to foster interdisciplinary dialogue.

Associate Professor Jun Wen delivered a keynote speech titled “Travel Therapy, Health Sciences, and Marketing: An Interdisciplinary Investigation of Individuals with Mild Dementia”. From cross-disciplinary perspectives of tourism therapy, health sciences, AI empowerment, and marketing, the speech focused on individuals with mild dementia and proposed new directions in smart health and wellness marketing, receiving lively discussion from experts. The abstracts submitted by doctoral students Wenlong Wang and Jiawei Wang were also accepted and presented orally at the forum, fully demonstrating the Faculty’s effectiveness in doctoral training.

 During the forum, Associate Professor Jun Wen, on behalf of the Faculty, exchanged views with leaders from the Business School of Liaoning University and the Business Administration College of Northeastern University, exploring collaboration in discipline building, joint research, smart wellness tourism, AI marketing, and other interdisciplinary areas. The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology will continue to expand academic collaboration, promote interdisciplinary research, and contribute to smart health and wellness tourism marketing.
