The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) has been ranked No. 20 globally in Hospitality and Tourism Management in the ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2026, reflecting its continued rise in international standing.

FHTM holds UN Tourism TedQual accreditation and offers the Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism Management (DPTM), Master of International Tourism Management (MITM), Master of Hotel Management (MHMT), Bachelor of International Tourism Management (BITM) and Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM). The programmes combine theory with practical case studies and cross-cultural communication.

The Faculty has over 50 full-time international faculty members and published over 100 SSCI papers in the 2025–2026 academic year. Leveraging Macao’s position as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, students gain internship opportunities in high-end hotels, integrated resorts and cultural tourism enterprises, with graduates working across leading global hotel groups and tourism organisations. FHTM will continue to leverage Macao’s position as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, strengthening international academic collaboration and industry ties to nurture globally minded tourism management professionals.
