The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology successfully held the “Internship Talk 2026” from 7th to 14th September 2026. This year, a total of 13 companies representatives from Macau, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, and Beijing came to share and introduce. Around 400 Year 4 students participated in the event.
The Faculty invited SJM Resorts, S.A., Wynn Resorts (Macau) Limited, MGM, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Huamei Consulting, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, Sands China Ltd., MGM Hospitality Group (Asia Pacific), Ltd., Crowne Plaza Macau, W Macau - Studio City, Mandarin Oriental, Macau, Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, and Holiday Inn Express Macau (listed in no particular order) to the talks, which were organized by Dr. Christy Liu, Program Director of FHTM. During the talks, the companies provided detailed insights into their backgrounds, development histories, and internship opportunities. Following the presentations, students actively submitted their resumes and engaged in in-depth discussions with company representatives. The atmosphere was vibrant and enthusiastic, reflecting a strong interest from the students.
FHTM has been committed to nurturing outstanding talent. Students have the opportunity to undertake internships in their fourth year. After attending the talks, students have a deeper understanding of the positions and requirements at various companies. This has better equipped them to find suitable opportunities and effectively plan their future career paths.
