The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management will hold the First Session of “Chef Series”: Culinary Demonstration by Chef Jean-Marie Lanio by Chef Jean-Marie Lanio on March 7th, 2025. Chef Jean-Marie Lanio will be invited to share successful experiences and showcase culinary skills.

Guest Speaker: Chef Jean-Marie Lanio

Jean-Marie Lanio, a skilled bakery chef from France’s Loire-Atlantique region, is now a consultant and instructor in Seoul, South Korea. He discovered his passion for baking at 18, trained at INBP in Rouen, and later taught there before helping establish a bakery training program in Lausanne. In 2015, he moved to Seoul, opening his own training school and conducting global masterclasses. A two-time Meilleur Ouvrier de France finalist, he co-authored acclaimed baking books and is renowned for pastries like Kouign-amann and viennoiseries, sharing French baking expertise worldwide.
