Academic Lecture 1: From fundamental principles to innovative applications: DeepSeek and the evolution of industry ecosystems

Lecture Description: This lecture will trace the evolution of AI from foundational concepts to generative intelligence, explaining how large models like DeepSeek achieve cognitive leaps through data-driven methodologies. Focusing on industry transformation, it will analyze the core value of generative AI in service optimization, experience innovation, and managerial decision-making, while exploring the underlying logic and commercial potential of technology in reshaping industry ecosystems. The discussion will also address ethical challenges such as data privacy and algorithmic bias, guiding reflections on the symbiotic balance between "technological empowerment" and "human-centric values." By establishing a cognitive framework for "AI + industry," the lecture aims to equip future professionals with critical awareness to drive service innovation and sustainable development in the intelligent era.

 

Academic Lecture 2: Mastering Generative AI: Innovation Empowerment Workshop

Lecture Description: This workshop focuses on practical strategies for implementing generative AI (exemplified by DeepSeek) across diverse contexts, grounded in academic research, learning, and professional scenarios for university faculty and students. Through hands-on exercises, participants will explore foundational AI applications, design multi-scenario prompts, innovate teaching/research workflows, and build personalized knowledge bases. On-site practical sessions will empower educators and learners to gain actionable strategies for integrating AI into pedagogy, academic exploration, and administrative tasks, ultimately enhancing efficiency in learning, research, and professional practice.

 

Guest Speaker: Dr. Yu Liu is a Boya Postdoctoral Fellow at Peking University and an Assistant Researcher at the Laboratory of Learning Sciences in the Graduate School of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in teacher education, learning sciences, and AI-enhanced education. Dr. Liu has led and participated in multiple key research projects, including Beijing Social Science Fund Key Projects and Hong Kong Government Research Grants Council-funded studies. She was awarded the title of "Tian Jia Bing Young Scholar in Teacher Education Research." She also contributed to the development of the Peking University edition of the DeepSeek User Manual.
