Dr. Amit Sharma is the Edward Friedman and Stuart Mann Professor of Hospitality Management at Penn State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Management and specializes in hospitality finance, sustainable food systems, and tourism economic development. As President of the International Association of Hospitality Financial Management Educators, he has published extensively and consulted for organizations like the World Bank. His contributions to teaching and research have earned him an Honorary Doctorate from the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers and multiple awards for his academic excellence.
