The “2026 Things Graduate Students MUST Know: Interdisciplinary Tourism Research: Benefits, Challenges, and the Path of Fulfilling Professional & Personal Goals”, organized by the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology and co-organized by the Student Association of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology, will be held on March 18, 2026. The event will feature Associate Professor Wen Jun from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management as the guest speaker. He will share insights on the frontiers of interdisciplinary tourism research, discussing its benefits, challenges, and how to achieve professional and personal goals.

Associate Professor Wen Jun is an outstanding academic expert and award-winning scholar at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Macau University of Science and Technology. He has long been dedicated to interdisciplinary tourism research and has achieved significant accomplishments, with his research findings widely recognized in the international academic community. This academic event focuses on cutting-edge dynamics in interdisciplinary tourism research, which will benefit master’s and doctoral students by helping them break disciplinary boundaries, expand research perspectives, stimulate innovative thinking, and enhance research depth.
