Professor Perry Hobson is Professor of Hotel and Tourism Partnerships at Bond Business School, Bond University, Australia. A recognized leader in tourism and hospitality education and research, he has held senior academic leadership roles at numerous universities and research institutions worldwide. Named among the world's top 50 tourism researchers, he is a former President of ICHRIE and led the Journal of Vacation Marketing as Editor-in-Chief for over two decades. Drawing on this extensive editorial experience, he brings deep insight into qualitative methodologies and the global trends shaping the future of tourism. In this lecture, he will discuss the significance of qualitative research in tourism and hospitality.
