From September 23 to September 24, 2022, postgraduate students from Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Macao University of Science and Technology, led by Professor Timothy Lee and Associate Professor Zhang Yang, went to the Venetian Macao Cotai Convention and Exhibition Center to participate in the 10th Macao International Tourism (Industry) Expo.

This year's Expo creates 7 highlights, continues to add new elements, and deepens the integration of "tourism +", which includes "Cloud Series" activities, "Bin Fun Portuguese" exhibition hall and Hengqin Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation area, the "Macao Destination Wedding" exhibition hall and the Palace Museum area. In addition to keeping the "Macao Street" area, the Macao Tourism Industry Exhibition Area also sets up the "Cotai Strip" area for the first time. The Expo continues to promote Macao's cultural and creative products, sets up the “City of Gastronomy” area to present the cooking demonstration.
Students and Teachers Attended the 10th Macao International Tourism (Industry) Expo
In this activity, students actively communicated with teachers and alumnus. Not only did they learn about the operation of Macao tourism authorities, but also build up new ideas for the development of the tourism industry. The activities deepened students' understanding of relevant professional knowledge, enhanced students' professional interest, and stimulated their enthusiasm for learning. The event also enabled the students to have a clearer planning and understanding of the future development of the tourism industry.
