On April 13, 2022, The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology held a seminar on integrated resort revenue optimization and distribution. Mr. Andrew Lai, Assistant Vice President of Sands China Limited, was invited to attend as a guest speaker. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the FHTM, Prof. Ben K. Goh, as well as Dr. Zhang Yang, Dr. Wang Shuo, Dr. Chau Shuk Mun, Dr. Yang Kai Han, and Dr. Hong Fang. In addition, over 100 graduate and undergraduate students majoring in international tourism management and hotel management attended the seminar.

During the seminar, Mr. Andrew Lai shared his practical experience in revenue optimization and distribution management in integrated resorts, which differ from single hotels due to their large number of rooms, multiple hotel brands, and full-service entertainment projects. He also engaged in an interactive Q&A session with the students, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the revenue management of large integrated resorts in Macau and inspiring them to pursue careers in this field in the future.
