From April to May 2024, teachers from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology visited 17 internship institutions in Macau, Shanghai, Zhuhai and Changsha. The participating teachers communicated with the intern students, listened to the evaluation and opinions of the interviewed institutions, and communicated with the interviewed institutions on further in-depth cooperation.
A total of 10 teachers including Wong Weng Chou, Feng Yan, Yang Chieh Yun, Tang Juan, Chen Yu Jie, Lee Ming, Liu Yingni, Gou Rui, Susanna and Mary participated in this field trip. The institutions interviewed by the teachers at this time include Wynn Macau, Ltd., MGM Grand Paradise Ltd., Galaxy Entertainment Group, Sands China Ltd., SJM Resorts, Ltd., Macau Mandarin Oriental, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, Macau Museum, Macau Expo Group Ltd., Macau China International Travel Services Ltd., HEYTEA (Macao), InterContinental Shanghai NECC, The Portman Ritz- Carlton Shanghai, Zhuhai St. Regis Hotels, Changsha Colorful World, JW Marriott Hotel Changsha, Changsha Xin Yi Yuan Hotel.
People in charge of institutions praised our students. They think that students have good professional skills, interpersonal communication skills, English skills and teamwork skills. At the same time, they appreciate the arrangement and management of our internship courses and hope to strengthen further cooperation with us in the future, formulate a series of talent training and exchange plans, and do a good job in school-enterprise cooperation. The teachers also expressed their intention to cooperate with the interviewed institutions and their determination to do a good job in the internship teaching management as always, hoping to cultivate all-round and diversified talents by combining reality.
