The event was divided into two main parts. First, Mr. Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, Chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, and Professor Zhu Shou Tong, Director of the Centre for Chinese History and Culture at the University of Macau, conducted presentations. They shared insights on the understanding of Chinese culture among Melco employees, the relationship between Chinese characters and cultural confidence, as well as demonstrations of traditional Chinese clothing and tea culture, highlighting the unifying effect of a unified nation. The best traditional costume competition was one of the highlights of this cultural expo, where Melco colleagues showcased their creativity and confidence in Chinese culture.

Through this event, students and teachers engaged in in-depth exchanges, learning about excellent Chinese traditions and building cultural confidence. They experienced the rich heritage of traditional culture from the perspective of Macau and recognized the importance of the tourism industry in cultural dissemination. Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return, it is essential to foster a spirit of patriotism and love for Macau, leveraging their professional strengths to provide students with broader insights and clearer planning for the future development of the tourism industry.
