On April 7, 2025, Associate Professor Wen Jun from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) visited School of Tourism at Sichuan University for an exchange meeting, where he was warmly received by Professor Li Zhiyong from School of Tourism at Sichuan University.

In his welcoming remarks, Professor Li Zhiyong acknowledged the achievements made in recent years in interdisciplinary research on Chinese traditional culture and tourism studies by the team of Professor Cui Rui from Sichuan University Tourism School and the team of Associate Professor Wen Jun from FHTM. He expressed hope that this meeting would deepen mutual understanding and further explore cooperation prospects in talent cultivation, high-level scholar exchanges, and scientific research, injecting new vitality into the interdisciplinary development of tourism studies.
Subsequently, Associate Professor Wen Jun, on behalf of Professor Ben K. Goh, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, provided a brief introduction to the institution. Following the meeting, Professor Wen Jun delivered an academic report on his research field and its intersection with Chinese traditional culture. Administrative staff, faculty representatives, and graduate students from School of Tourism at Sichuan University attended the exchange event.
