The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) was held in the afternoon of June 11, 2025 in the Auditorium of the Teaching Building in Block R. This year, under the witness of more than 500 industry guests, teachers, relatives and friends, 300 FHTM graduates attended the graduation ceremony.

Chair Prof. Joseph Hun-wei LEE, Vice Chancellor and President of MUST and Professor Ben K. Goh, Dean of FHTM attended the ceremony and presented the graduation certificates to Graduates of Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism Management, Master of International Tourism Management, Master of Hotel Management, Bachelor of International Tourism Management and Bachelor of Hotel Management. Dean Ben K. Goh welcomed the guests and congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments. He emphasized that graduation is a milestone and the start of the leadership journey. As representatives of outstanding graduates, Lin Yingtong, graduate of Master of International Tourism Management, and Zhang Chenshuo, graduate of Bachelor of International Tourism Management, delivered speeches on behalf of all the graduates. They shared that MUST bridge theory and practice through competitions, MICE volunteering, and internships, clarifying the students’ career paths. They summarized their growth with courage, optimism, and process-oriented mindset and urged peers that “you are braver, stronger, and smarter than you think.”

Before concluding the ceremony, Dean Prof. Ben K. Goh invited a special tribute to Dr. Vincent Cheng. For 16 years, Dr. Cheng has demonstrated unwavering commitment to FHTM, shaping the minds of countless students and contributing profoundly to our community. As Dr. Cheng embarks on a well-deserved retirement, Chair Prof. Joseph Hun-wei LEE, President of MUST presented a commemorative plaque in recognition of his distinguished service, followed by Dean Goh presenting a specially crafted memorial album on behalf of the faculty, containing heartfelt messages from colleagues and students alongside archival photos of his academic journey.

Finally, Dean Prof. Ben K. Goh declared the end of the ceremony and conveyed to wish for graduates’ perseverance and boundless success in contributing to global tourism.
