The third session of the 2025 Things Graduate Students MUST Know, organized by the Students' Union of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology, was held on November 10, 2025, at Lecture Hall N316, Library Building (Block N). The guest speaker for this session was Dr. Bee Lia Chua from University of Putra Malaysia, who delivered a lecture titled "A Guide to Manuscript Writing for Journal Publication". Attendees included Professor Ben K. Goh, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at MUST; Associate Professor Pan Su Ying, Program Director; Associate Professor Pai Chen Kuo; Assistant Professors Kim Jinkyung, Amr Al-Ansi, Yang Kaihan, Wang Dimin, Yu Jing, and Lim Juhwan, among others. Nearly 100 students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management and other faculties attended the lecture. This seminar was sponsored by Macau Foundation.

Dean Ben K. Goh delivered the opening speech, expressing gratitude to Dr. Bee Lia Chua for her presentation and to Associate Professor Pai Chen Kuo for organizing the event. Dean Ben K. Goh also presented a commemorative gift to Dr. Bee Lia Chua. During the lecture, drawing on her extensive experience as an author, reviewer, and journal editor, Dr. Bee Lia Chua systematically shared key aspects of journal manuscript writing, including journal selection, manuscript preparation, structure, evaluation, submission, and revision. Her detailed and practical guidance provided students with valuable insights for their academic writing and submission processes, while also boosting their confidence and resilience in their academic pursuits.

Additionally, after the lecture, Dr. Bee Lia Chua thoroughly addressed questions raised by the students. The event concluded with a group photo of all participants, marking a successful end to the lecture.
