Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (F.H.T.M.) of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) held a Meeting for academic cooperation projects with Fudan University on January 23, 2024. The meeting was attended by Sheng Xiaolei, the Party Secretary of the History Department of Fudan University, Ba Zhaoxiang, the professor and doctoral supervisor in the Tourism Department of Fudan University, Sun Yunlong, the Deputy Head of the Tourism Department of Fudan University, Wu Ben, the associate professor in the Tourism Department of Fudan University, Guo Yang, the associate professor in the Tourism Department of Fudan University, and Zhang Jin, the teaching secretary for the Master's program in Tourism Management at Fudan University, who were warmly welcomed by F.H.T.M. Dean Ben K. Goh, Vice Dean Timothy Lee, Assistant Dean Zhang Yang, Program Director Liu Yingni, Associate Professor Tang Juan, Assistant Professor Chen Yujie and Assistant Professor Wang Shuo.

At the meeting, F.H.T.M. Dean Ben K. Goh introduced the overview of the faculty and the past cooperation models with other universities to the guests. On the other hand, Prof. Ba Zhaoxiang introduced the basic situation of the department, its teaching characteristics and outstanding achievements in tourism. The two parties exchanged views on topics such as scientific research cooperation, teacher-student exchanges, academic conference coorperation and hoping to further work together to cultivate more talents in the tourism fields in the future.
