This recognition comes after his previous achievement of receiving the same award in 2022, it has further demonstrates his outstanding contributions to the academic community and his expertise in the field of scholarly review. JHTM is a leading tourism journal (SSCI impact factor 8.3 in 2023, A rating in ABDC list).

Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management is the official journal of CAUTHE (Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education Inc.) The journal is committed to a broad range of topics including tourism and travel management, leisure and recreation studies and the emerging field of event management. It contains both theoretical and applied research papers and encourages the submission of the results of collaborative research undertaken between academia and industry.

Dr. Amr Al-Ansi

Assistant Professor Amr Al-Ansi received his Bachelor of Information Technology from Staffordshire University, UK and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, Malaysia, and Master of Hospitality and Tourism Management and Doctor of Hospitality and Tourism Management from Sejong University, Korea. Assistant Professor Amr Al-Ansi’s research interests are tourism management & marketing, sustainable tourism development, Halal tourism, cultural heritage, and customer experience. He has published more than 30 academic papers in various international top journals such as Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management and so on.

The faculty boasts a team of highly professional and internationalized teaching staff with rich teaching experience, sharing a sense of professional dedication in caring and nurturing our students. FHTM will continue to focus on cultivating students’ international vision, teaching as well as research, in order to encourage students to continue to develop towards diversity and excellence.
