“Star Chef in Macao” Gourmet Exchange Tour Group Visited FHTM

On October 23, 2019 at 10:00-12:00, the “Star Chef in Macao” Gourmet Exchange Tour Group visited the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology. This event was jointly organized by MGTO, FHTM of MUST, DayDayCook and HKCT.

The topic of Macao Gourmet Exchange Tour is Pasteis de Bacalhau cooking demonstration. Chef Tiger Chu, The Seasons in MUST demonstrated the cooking process of the Pasteis de Bacalhau and explained the cooking skills to be noticed in the process, which enriched students’ learning experiences and enhanced their professional skills.

In order to facilitate communication between students in MUST and HKCT, they were divided into groups to cook Portuguese cuisine by fully utilizing their skills and experiences. Finally, every team presented exquisite and delicious dishes.

Students felt very honored to attend such a worthwhile event and they mastered the skill of cooking authentic Portuguese food. Also, the Macau Portuguese food culture left them a memorable impression.
