The Delegation of the F.H.T.M attended THE INC 2024 (Tourism, Hospitality & Events International Conference) in Netherland

The Macau University of Science and Technology(M.U.S.T.) delegation led by Professor Timothy Lee, vice dean of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (F.H.T.M.) and Associate Professor Tang Juan attended THE INC 2024 from June 5 to 7 2024. Prof. Timothy Lee made an important speech on behalf of MUST and International Journal of Tourism Research (IJTR) at the Editors’ Corner. The participation of the F.H.T.M. faculty and student delegation not only injected new vitality into the conference but also further enhanced the international academic reputation and influence of the university.

The conference, held by Hotelschool The Hague in Amsterdam, Netherland, had the theme “Technology Enabled Competitiveness and Experiences in Tourism, Hospitality and Events”. Affiliated with Association of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Networks in Academia (ATHENA), THE INC is one of the most significant academic summits with research output in the field of tourism, hospitality and events. To date, the four THE INC conferences consistently attracted renowned scholars and industry experts in tourism from around the globe to engage in in-depth discussions on the frontiers of tourism research, making a profound impact in the international tourism academic community.
