From August 23 to 25, 2024, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) attended the 1st International Symposium on Gastronomy and Sustainable Tourism (ISGST 2024), held at Suan Dusit University (SDU) in Thailand. The symposium focused on gastronomy tourism, sustainable tourism, and the integration of IT and AI in tourism studies.
Professor Timothy Lee Delivered the Speech
Guided by Professor Timothy Lee, Associate Professor Yang Zhang, Associate Professor Pai Chen Kuo, and Assistant Professor Feng Yan, FHTM students Guo Ce, Li Zhixuan, Liu Sifan, Ti Yuchen, Wang Ziqi, Wu Weihao, Zhang Jingsong, Shen Miaomiao, Zhou Zhirui, Yang Xiaoning, and Yang Ting successfully presented their research. Notably, Zhang Jingsong and Guo Ce who are supervised by Associate Professor Pai Chen Kuo received “Best Paper Award”. Zhang Jingsong also received “Best Presenter Award”. This symposium enhanced MUST’s international academic presence and provided valuable opportunities for student development.
