Faculty members and students from Macau University of Science and Technology achieved great in the 2nd "Wanlv Cup" National College Students' Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Marine Tourism Innovation Competition

On December 9, 2024, students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology performed outstandingly in the 2nd "Wanlv Cup" National College Students' Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Marine Tourism Innovation Competition held by the Tourism Education Branch of the China Tourism Association. The project "The 2024 Naozhou Island -Volcano in the Blue Ocean-Ecological and Cultural Art Festival" by Li Qianyue, Li Jingyi, Meng Zining and Zhang Chenshuo, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Zhang Su and “The project 'In Wanshan, Love Heats Up: Design of Marine Outdoor Sports + Romantic Themed Tour Products” guided by Assistant Professor Liu Chao, involving Liu Yi, Xia Binghan, and Zhang Fangqing both won the first prize in the preliminary round.

Since the launch of the 2nd "Wanlv Cup" National College Students' Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Marine Tourism Innovation Competition in June 2024, various universities have responded enthusiastically and participated actively. This competition has attracted a total of 193 universities across the country, 557 teams, and more than 3,200 faculty members and students to participate in.

With the theme of "Blue Exploration, Innovation Leading the Future of Marine Tourism", this competition has specifically established a platform for students in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which demonstrated to the whole country the academic abilities and practical competitiveness of tourism major students in the Greater Bay Area, and promoting the development and innovation of marine tourism programs in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region.

The faculty members and students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology have shown their talents and strengths, won honors for the university, and provided a brand-new answer for the diversified development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
