On April 27, 2025, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the Student Consultative Committee of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) successfully organized the "4th Faculty-Student Football Friendship Match" at the MUST Football Field (Block I). The match featured teams from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Faculty of Innovation Engineering (FIE), with players comprising faculty members and students from both faculties.

Prior to the match, Chair Prof. Joseph Hun-wei LEE, Vice Chancellor and President of MUST, and Prof. Ben K. Goh, Dean of FHTM, delivered speeches on behalf of their faculties. They encouraged participants to showcase their skills, engage actively in physical exercise to alleviate stress, and expressed hopes for increased interaction between faculty and students across the two faculties.
The game commenced in the afternoon with a whistle from the referee. The FHTM team donned purple jerseys, while the FIE team wore turquoise uniforms. Both sides swiftly entered competitive yet sportsmanlike play, with all participants given the opportunity to take the field. Players demonstrated both skill and camaraderie, delivering an exciting match. Football served as a medium, and sportsmanship as a bridge—this event successfully fostered friendship and connection between faculty and students of the two faculties.
Following the match, participants from both teams expressed satisfaction with the event, noting that it not only promoted physical fitness but also highlighted the vitality of MUST students and the spirit of sportsmanship. This friendly competition established a platform for exchange between FHTM and FIE, laying the groundwork for future collaboration and mutual trust. The FIE football team also extended gratitude to the FHTM Student Consultative Committee for organizing the event and expressed eagerness for more collaborative opportunities in the future.
