Award-winning Work

The National College Students Red Tourism Creative Planning Competition stands as a national-level event jointly hosted by the Department of Resources Development under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Department of Social Development of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Beijing International Studies University. This edition embraced the theme Forging Red Ideals, Writing Creative Youth, focusing on commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. It aimed to remember history, honor heroes, cherish peace, and forge the future. Participants were tasked with developing creative proposals centered on red tourism, including route designs and marketing plans, to revitalize red resources and promote the spirit of resistance. The competition drew participation from 1,001 universities nationwide, involving over 6,000 teams and more than 30,000 faculty and students, with a total of 5,144 submissions.

Amid intense competition across numerous universities, FHTM students adhered closely to the competition’s core theme of Forging Red Ideals, demonstrating innovative concepts that blend technology empowerment and cultural integration. This success highlighted the faculty’s spirit of courageously shouldering responsibilities and forging ahead with determination in the face of complex domestic and international challenges. It not only represents a dynamic practice of red heritage in the new era but also accumulates invaluable experience for Macau universities in national professional competitions.

Looking ahead, the faculty will continue to uphold the university motto and its educational philosophy of cultivating high-level professionals. We will encourage student participation in high-caliber competitions to enhance creative planning and comprehensive abilities through hands-on experience. Concurrently, we will leverage the competition’s achievement-transformation platform to showcase outstanding works at red tourism exhibitions, persistently contributing to the innovation and development of tourism in Macau and across the nation, thereby revitalizing red culture among the younger generation.
