The finals of the “2025 Macao University Student Conference Event Planning Competition”, organized by the Youth Committee of the Macao Convention and Exhibition Association, was successfully held on September 13, 2025, at Greenwich Conference Room of The Londoner Macao.

Under the guidance of Assistant Dean Professor Jose Weng Chou Wong and Lecturer Pan Yu from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), MUST students once again exhibited standards of excellence. With innovative planning capabilities and outstanding presentation skills, they stood out in fierce competition among major universities in Macau and successfully claimed the championship honor. According to the arrangements, the winning team will subsequently represent the Macao region to attend “2025 AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge” hosted by Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Association (AFECA).
The 2025 Macau Student Conference Event Planning Competition featured 11 teams from Macau major Universities and 3 teams from Zhuhai area. A team consisting of Li Ruizi, Liang Ziqin, and Wu Kaiyue (senior students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management) and Li Chenyu (junior student from the School of Business) of MUST overcame numerous challenges. Throughout both the preliminary and final rounds of the competition, they fully embodied the university’s spirit of “Dedication to practical studies, Enhancement of knowledge, Ability and Quality”, ultimately achieving outstanding results.
